In using this website you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions:

Our Goal

To provide the highest quality computer repair and web services possible and to do so in a timely, honest and professional manner.

Fair Repair Policy

We promise to...

  • Offer honest and unbiased advice and information relating to your computer issues
  • Repair your computer as quickly and professionally as possible
  • Repair and replace only the parts found to be faulty and nothing more
  • Keep you informed on your repair at regular intervals
  • Not take your hard earned money if we do not provide you a tangible valuable service
  • Be available should you require email assistance and after service backup

Sale On Behalf Conditions

Any items sold on behalf will be sold as quickly as possible. However in many cases it may take weeks to months to successfully sell your items as many of the individual part's are only useful to a small number of buyers.

We charge a 30% commission for all items sold. You may request any unsold part's / items at any time but we request at least 1 week notice to allow us to remove any listings advertising your items.

It is your right to request details of any sold items and the prices received at any time.

We will only accept sell on behalf items in situations where your notebook or computer cannot be repaired cost effectively and we do so as service to our customers to recoup repair cost's so far.

Warranty Information

All new goods sold are covered by the original manufacturers return to base warranty. Detailed warranty and returns information available here.

Used or refurbished parts or goods sold are covered by a one month warranty unless otherwise stated.

For details on a specific product please refer to the original manufacturers website or contact us for details.

Off-Site Repairs

All repairs conducted off-site will be kept in a locked and secure location at all times unless being transported collected or delivered in our vehicles. All items left in our care are strictly at the the customers risk. We will make every possible effort to ensure the safety of your items however we cannot be held accountable for loss or damage resulting from fire, theft, natural disaster or any other event outside of our control.

If you do not agree to these terms we ask you request delivery of your items or on-site service. Should a member of our staff cause damage to any item left in our care, we will ensure suitable reparation is provided to the customer.

Freight / Courier Loss Or Damage

Any items returned to the customer following a repair will be sent with a reliable and safe carrier. We will ensure the items are suitably packaged, however loss or damaged claims must be made to the carrier used.

You MUST check all deliveries for damage BEFORE signing the acceptance form. Should customers request a 'non signature required' or standard post service this will be provided entirely at the customers risk.

Quotations

We are happy to provide a quotation for any service on request however in some cases we may charge a small fee to diagnose the fault which can vary from $15.00+GST to $45.00+GST if more advanced troubleshooting is required.

Payment Terms

We accept cash,bank deposit (Banking payment page screen shot provided prior to collection) , and cheque as payment for all services and products.We do not currently have EFT-POS or Credit card payment options. We are happy to provide an invoice for products or services and prefer payment prior to collection but in cases where an invoice is required we request full payment to be made in full within 7 days from the invoice date to avoid additional charges. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ADD ANY AND ALL DEBT COLLECTION FEE'S TO ANY OUTSTANDING INVOICE. ANY AMOUNTS THAT REMAIN UNPAID AFTER 1 MONTH WILL ATTRACT INTEREST AT THE RATE OF 15% PER ANNUM CALCULATED DAILY.

Items left with us for repair that are not collected within 3 months may be sold to recoup our repair costs however we will make every effort to make contact with you.

Products and upgrades require payment in full before delivery / shipping.

Custom computer builds require a 25% deposit on ordering with the balance due prior to delivery / shipping.

Web design contracts require a initial 25% deposit and may require progress payments to be made as the site design evolves.

Goods sold remain the property of Ohno Mobile Computer Repairs Limited until the invoice is paid in full.

GPU rework services may require a non-refundable diagnosis fee which is then absorbed into the final price should you accept the quote.

Money Back Guarantee Terms

We offer a money back guarantee should you feel unhappy with our services for any reason with the following conditions:

  • Purchased software supplied and installed during the service are non-refundable
  • All part's, upgrades new or used supplied and installed during the service are non-refundable
  • We request you notify us by phone of any problems with our service within 7 days
  • We must be allowed the opportunity to correct any problems before a refund is requested
  • We reserve the right to deny or approve refund requests at our discretion
  • All freight or courier costs incurred are non-refundable
  • Extra distance fees and travel costs are non-refundable
  • We are not responsible for issues caused by but not limited to, internet providers , telecommunications companies , mobile phone companies, email or web server providers
  • We cannot refund or repair without charge if the problem is considered a new issue. For example, if your original service was to remove a virus and shortly after your hard drive fails , this is considered a NEW fault and so not covered by our warranty. If on the other hand the exact same virus reappears and it is a direct result of poor workmanship we will repair / remove the virus again without additional charge at the original service location.

Data Loss

While we take every precaution to protect your data, we are not responsible for any data loss resulting from hardware failure, virus attacks or random malfunctions of software or hardware. It is the customers responsibility to ensure regular and reliable backups are made prior to accepting our services.

Booking Changes / Cancellations

Requests to cancel or change confirmed bookings must be made no later than 2 hours prior to the scheduled booking time to avoid a minimum call out fee of $45.00 being invoiced.

We do understand that events outside of your control can happen and we will always be fair, however we reserve the right to impose a minimum $45.00 call out charge should we deem it necessary

Cancellations / changes requested on the day of the booking must be confirmed by telephone by calling (03) 377 4851.

We regret we do not accept cancellations or booking changes left on our answering machine or by email.

In the unlikely event we are unable to attend a confirmed booking or will be delayed, we will endeavor to contact you as soon as possible by telephone.

Product Returns

New or used goods returned for credit must be returned within 7 days of purchase. All returns must be in the original undamaged packaging and with the original invoice. We cannot accept returns for any of the following reasons:

  • You changed your mind or your employment situation suddenly changes
  • Incorrect part or product ordered
  • Goods are replacement parts and have been installed, LCD panels, memory modules , Hard drives etc.
  • The goods are consumable items such as batteries, blank CD/DVD items and have been used.
  • The goods are not in original condition with original invoice.

 

Defective Goods

Any parts new or used found to be defective within the warranty period stated on the product invoice will be replaced free of charge.

If the faulty goods are upgrades or computer parts requiring removal / re-installation we will provide this service at a discounted rate should major dis-assembly be required or free if minimal dis-assembly is required to remove the part or upgrade.

A service / testing fee of $45.00 may be charged if goods are returned and found to be not defective.

Complaints

We welcome your feedback and will address any complaints as quickly as possible.

We request you notify us by phone or email within 7 days should you notice any problems with our service. This means your machine will be tested and working prior to collection or delivery. Should issues occur once in your possession please let us know within 7 days. Additional issues can occur and are not always as a result of the original repair.

 

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail. Any emails sent by Ohno mobile computer repairs limited will be considered strictly confidential.

Site Security

We take every precaution to ensure our web site will not harm your computer system or data, however we cannot be held liable for any damage or loss resulting from visiting our website.

Credit Card Payments, Lay-by facilities, Credit.

We do not currently offer any credit card payment options, lay-by, credit terms or incremental payments. Payment for all services must be paid in full on completion.
