Thank you for considering our computer repair services. We want to ensure you understand the terms and conditions governing our work, so please take a moment to review them below:

Services:

We provide hardware repair, component level diagnosis and repairs, virus removal, software installation, network setups, general IT troubleshooting, supply and install of all IT equipment and data recovery services and more to both individuals and businesses.

Fees and Payments:

Our fees vary based on the complexity and scope of the repair unless already stated with our fixed price services, and we’ll provide you with a email estimate prior to starting any work. Payment is due upon completion, and we accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. Credit card payments will incur an additional 2% processing fee for Visa and Mastercard and a 3% surcharge For Amex. This fee is added to cover the charges imposed on us by credit card companies and payment gateways. For all services we request fullpayment on completion of our service unless previously agreed upon. 

Overdue Payments:

Overdue invoices not paid at the compleition of service will incur an additional 5% including GST penalty for each calendar month overdue from the due date calculated daily.

We reserve the right to add all and any debit collection fees and legal fees to any outstanding invoices in the event of non-payment without contact. We are here to help so please get in touch as soon as possible if you are having any issues with our service or with payment.

Warranty:

We warrant that our services will be performed with reasonable care and skill. If any issue arises with our services within 14 days of completion, we will re-perform the repair free of charge. This warranty does not apply to any new damage caused by you or any third party.
New parts are backed by the full manfacturers return to base warranty which varies from 12 months to 5 years.
Used parts are covered by a 30 day return to base warranty.
Custom built computers have a 12 month system build warranty and individual parts covered by the manufacturers warranty from 12 months to 5 years.
Return to base means the faulty device will need to be returned to us for us to diagnose and assess.

Privacy and Personal Data 

We value your privacy and do not copy or share any of your personal data collected by our website including the data on your devices during the course of your repair.

It is your responibility to have made all data backups of devices you wish us to work on, however we promise to ask for permission should we need to erase the data or reset your device in order to repair and will offer a backup as part of your service.

Collection of Repairs:

On completition of your repair we will make 3 attempts to contact you by various means. If you do not contact us or collect within 60 days we reserve the right to dispose of or sell your item to recoup any costs owing. It is your responsibility to ensure your contact details are correct when entering your details online or in store.

Disputes:

If you have any issue with our service or have a grievance please let us know within 7 days from completion of your service or repair by phone or email.
We promise to correct any issues in a timely and fair manner however new issues or problems will be treated as a new service and charged as such.
Computer repair can offer challenges and in some cases despite taking all due care things can be missed or additional issues unrelated to the original repair can occur. We promise to keep you informed should we anticipate such issues in advance where possible and we will in all cases adhere to our Customer Satisfaction Guarantee outlined here.

Returns / Cancellations:

We understand that you may change your mind about a product or parts you purchased from us. If you wish to return a product please contact us within 7 days of the purchase. We will provide you with instructions on how to return the product or equipment to us or arrange return of your device if it is in our possession.

For returns of products, we will provide a full refund of the purchase price as long as the product is returned in its original packaging, unopened and undamaged. For returns of equipment, we will provide a full refund of the purchase price if the equipment is returned in its original condition, with all original components and accessories included.

For cancellations of repairs, we will refund the full amount paid if we have not yet started the repair work. If the repair work has already begun, we will refund a prorated amount based on the work completed up to the point of cancellation. We try out best to be fair in all cases.

For all special orders or hard to locate parts we charge 50% restocking fee if you change your mind or choose not to repair after ordering.

Please note that the cost of shipping the returned product or equipment back to us is your responsibility unless we made an error in the original shipment. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the returned item.

We hope this returns policy gives you peace of mind when making purchases or repairs with us. If you have any questions or concerns about our returns policy, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Liability:

We cannot be held liable for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, or any indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our liability to you for any direct damages will be limited to the amount you paid us for the service.
All repairs left at our workshop or in transit in our work vehicle will be kept as safe and secure as possible however we accept no liability for loss or damage due to theft, fire, earthquake or other events outside our control.

Any damage caused by us in error by will be covered in all cases.

Intellectual Property:

All intellectual property rights in our website, services, and any products we offer are owned by us or our licensors. You may not use any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent that includes LOGOS branding, wording and Icons on our website.

Termination:

We may terminate your access to our website and services at any time including if we believe you have breached these terms and conditions.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws within New Zealand which is where we operate. Any dispute arising from these terms and conditions will be resolved by the New Zealand court system. We ask you contact us first if you are unhappy for any reason.

Amendments:

We may amend these terms and conditions at any time by posting the amended terms on our website. Your continued use of our website and services after the amended terms are posted will constitute acceptance of the amended terms.
